As I understand, AzB-Klasse probably refers to noise-level of the aircraft, and it is influenced by aircraft-type, turbin and number of turbins. In the report, the emissions are given regarding the AzB-Klasse:s. The emissions for which values are indicated include PM10, NOx, NMVOC, SO2, CO, BaP and CO2. For each emissions, a specific "Schadenkostenfaktor" (own translation: damage coefficient) was given for year 2000.

Scope
Air pollution emissions describes the emissions of air pollutants from the airplane and road traffic due to airport activity.

Description

  • In the Frankfurt report, the emissions of landing-take off cycle of airplanes have been expressed regarding the "AzB-Klassen" of the airplanes.

AzB-Klasse = Anleitung zur Berechnung von Lärmschutzbereichen an zivilen und militärischen Flugplätzen nach dem Gesetz zum Schutz gegen Fluglärm.
