Aim
The purpose of this page is to gather information on:
1) Policies of fishery and fishing
2) Various health endpoints for substances found in fish
to form a picture of the human health effects due to fish consumption
Different policies for fishing and fishery
Here is a list of different ways for controlling health effects due to fish consumption:
- Setting maximum concentration for dioxins found in fish

Health endpoints for dioxins, methylmercury and omega-3 fatty acids
We concentrate here on dioxins, methylmercury and omega-3 fatty acids. There are number of other substances with health effects as well, but they are not concidered here.
