Names of the discussion parts
Statements: The names of the discussion parts have been dispute, argumentation, outcome. These should be changed to statement, argumentation, resolution.
Resolution: Accepted. (A stable resolution, when found, should be updated to the main page.) |
Argumentation:
←1: Dispute does not give guidance on the structure of the part. This has resulted in many discussions where the dispute is expressed as a question. This is not the idea. It should be expressed as two or more statements. Therefore, statements is a better name. --Jouni 08:42, 22 November 2008 (EET) ←2: Resolution is a more precise term and it clearly refers to the dispute, while outcome can be an outcome of anything. It can be e.g. confused with the result. --Jouni 08:42, 22 November 2008 (EET) |
