Scope
What are good practices for making qualitative data analysis in Opasnet?
Result
- RQDA sounds promising, but more testing is needed.
- Coding Analysis Toolkit is a web-based tool that seems to work OK, but it is not very quick to use.
- Proprietary software (see Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software are expensive and are problematic in open group work.
Rationale
Possible solutions
- Computer Assisted Qualitative Data Analysis Software
- Dedoose
- RQDA runs within R but requires GTK+ so it most likely does not with server R.
- Coding Analysis Toolkit or CAT
- Atlas.ti is a common proprietary software, but it is expensive and the free trial is too limited for any practical use.
- AnSWR: Analysis Software for Word-based Records by CDC. I have not tested because it is for Word documents only, but could be useful.
- Open Code I have not tested.
